Magnolia Bakery is one of New York City’s most beloved bakeries
– known especially for its cupcakes.
They first opened in 1996 in the West Village in New York City, and now they have 4 locations in NYC, 1 in Los Angeles, 1 in Chicago and 1 in Dubia.
I couldn’t help but stop in when I was in the Rockefeller Plaza area recently (1240 6th Avenue, in case you’re in the area.)
They had this sign in the window, I was hungry for a sweet, and my dear fried Ellen has just become a cancer survivor. Let’s all celebrate with her!
For every “Pink Ribbon Cupcake” purchased throughout the month of October, Magnolia Bakery will donate 50 cents to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
What better snack can you get for $3.75/each and cure cancer at the same time?!?!
If you’re not in New York City, or Los Angeles, or Chicago, or Dubai – you’re just not near a Magnolia Bakery – please go here to donate to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Eat a “Pink Ribbon Cupcake” if you can. I’ll bet you’ll be glad you did, for more reasons than one.
