This Sunday 9/4 – The 19th Annual Tugboat Race & Competition

3 Sep

I saw the fliers around the neighborhood, and immediately got all excited. Anything pertaining to River activities these days gives me a thrill.

So, when I got back to the computer, I did a search, and found this website, and this one.

A Tugboat Race in our neighborhood?! I am SO there!!

AND Tugboat nose-to-nose pushing contests?? Have I died and gone to Heaven???

I read further. There’s a Circle Line Spectator Boat – which supposedly puts you in prime positioning to watch and photograph the race.

I bough tickets for Hubby and me before you could say “On your mark, get set, GO”.

If you want to watch the race from the pier or the river walkway, no tickets are needed. And the fun on Pier 84 is free for all.

Here’s the info. Sounds like a fantastic way to spend a lovely Sunday morning.
