Stargazing on the High Line

During the warmer months of the year, Friends of the High Line and the Amateur Astronomers Association Of New York invite you to gaze at the stars using high-powered telescopes, and get a lesson from the experts on the celestial wonders of New York City’s night sky. Stargazing on the High Line takes place every Tuesday at dusk, weather permitting.

LOCATION
Stargazing’s location is dependent upon night sky conditions each week. For the latest updates, please check the High Line’s website, call (212) 206-9922, or follow @highlinenyc on Twitter.

FREE, no RSVP required.

All ages

This High Line Public Program is presented in partnership with the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York.

Here are some photos that I have taken of the High Line, and the moon over New York City – though not during the Tuesdays Stargazing Event.

I can’t wait to go and see that lovely orb through a telescope – courtesy of The High Line and the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York!!

xoxo,
