Corny Pictures And A Yummy Corn Recipe

In our household, we like corn.

It’s purty.

And it tastes real good at The 9th Avenue Food Festival.

Whenever we see a corn field, we have the urge to go stand in it

and breath in all the wonderful corniness.

Hubby even likes to tell corny jokes.

Our cat Sammy loves corn.

Here’s one of our favorite corn recipes:

FANNIE FLAGG’S CORN CASSEROLE

ingredients you need:

cream-style corn___17-ounce can

whole kernel corn, drained___11-ounce can

sour cream___8-ounce carton

eggs, beaten___2

butter, melted and cooled___1/2 cup

corn muffin mix___8 1/2-ounce box

hardware you need:

12” x 8” x 2” baking dish, greased

oven preheated to 350 degrees

what you do with it all:

Combine both corns, sour cream, eggs, and butter. Mix well.

Stir in corn muffin mix.

Pour into baking dish and bake for 45 minutes.

Couldn’t be simpler and couldn’t be yummier!!
