More HDR Photography

31 Mar

I’m still playing around with HDR processing. Here are a few images – please tell me what you think…

My nephews:

Sammy The Cat watching TV:

The Empire State Building:

A diner breakfast:

A New York City street scene:

Our neighborhood pizza joint:

Our spice store man:

His fat cat:

Trashed umbrellas after a wet and windy day:

And guess who’s hanging out at the Times Square McDonlads?

So, love it or hate it? HDR is definitely not for everybody.

Anything here you think works better or worse?

All feedback is welcome!

Atsa nice! I even like the one of the pancakes with bacon, which is high praise coming from a vegetarian. 😉

Glad you like! At least it’s turkey bacon! 🙂

I LOVE them! The results are so “painterly”–they look like you used chalk, watercolor, acrylics, etc. My favorite is the one that looks like a watercolor of the Empire State Building. The angle of your shot really shows off the stately beauty of that building–perhaps THE most beautiful skyscraper in the word.

Thanks, J. A.! I really appreciate your feedback. It is an amazing building isn’t it? I’m so lucky to be here to photograph it!

hilarious. randomly browsed your pictures for HDR examples and then realized I recognized the spice store (9th and 40th).
