The other day I wrote about things that are no longer here in New York City – Old Landmarks No More.
Well, today I want to show you something that New York City will always have.
They are always there, yet always changing. One after another, sometimes with stars’ names, sometimes the name of the production is star-power enough.
Here are a sampling from over the past few years:
The Producers, with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, which won 12 Tony Awards.
The Lion King
Which is currently Broadway’s eighth longest-running show in history, according to Wikipedia.
Phantom Of The Opera
Which is currently the longest-running show in Broadway history.
How about a new one? Kathy Griffin Wants A Tony
Which opens this Friday.
Chicago, here with Usher
A Little Night Music, with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury
How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, with Daniel Radcliffe
How about one at night, in black and white? A View From The Bridge, with Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schreiber
I’ll post some more tomorrow…
